A big group of 17 cubs, brothers, sisters, parents and leaders joined in with 60 others to go to the snow for the weekend. We left on Friday night and travelled to Jindabyne in two buses. On Saturday, after breakfast we went in the bus to Charlottes Pass to play in the snow. This included snow ball fights and sliding down the hill. Then back down the road a bit to Perisher where we had the whole front valley to ourselves. We dragged toboggans up the hill, then slid down to the bottom in them. After lunch we spread all our snow clothes out to dry and went into town to check out the shops, get some souvenirs, and an ice cream. By the time dinner was finished everyone was well and truly ready for bed. On Sunday we went to Thredbo and rode the Crackenback Chairlift right to the top of the mountain. At the top we had a snowman competition, and even though ours was the biggest it didn't win. After lunch we headed back to Jindabyne, backed our bags and came home.
