A clear sunny day during a week of rain made for a pleasant evening at Narrabeen Lagoon. Our intrepid fishermen and women, got under way after some expert instruction from our guest presenters. We learned how tie a hook, put on the bait, how to tell if our catch was undersize, and about bag limits for each type of fish.
After tying our lines and baiting our hooks things were soon under way.
The mild dusk made for plenty of action with lots of small bream, mullet and others being caught. Unfortunately none were big enough to make it home to the dining table. The photos below are just a small sample of the catches on the night.
