Circus Night by Lochie
Last night I dressed up as a magician. First we walked around the circle telling everybody who we were. Next we got into sixes (I was in white), then we did an elephant relay race. After that we went outside to pop each others balloons. Then we went back inside and played a game where everyone got numbers and if your number got called you had to crawl under a parachute that we were waving and swap with another person that had your number. Finally we did the finishing parade and went home. My favourite part was popping the balloons.

I dressed up as a clown, which was hard as I had to wear make up and red zinc. We forgot to make a bow tie, so we cut out a shape and put some elastic on to go round my neck and then painted it red, blow dried it and then painted some yellow spots, dried again and jumped into the car. It was really nice to have a joint meeting as I knew some of the other people from the Harbord group. The two best things of the night were seeing our leaders dressed up and playing the parachute games. See you next term.

Here is the story of the circus dress up night……………….. I loved dressing up in my clown suit [every one squeaked my nose], and I liked seeing everyone else in their costumes. Then the two wolf packs played some games, the two games were a balloon game and a parachute game. I do not know which one was the best, I liked them both the same. At the end of the night I had my investiture, then I became a full cub. That was my favourite part of the night, and I will definitely remember becoming a cub dressed as a clown! After my investiture, everyone went home. It was a great night and lots of fun.
