Ok, so you have been and checked us out and have decided you want to make our Group, your Group. We think this is fantastic and look forward to you and your family becoming an integral part of Brookvale Curl Curl Scout Group. You should aim to be invested on the 6th week you attend.
At Brookvale Curl Curl, like every other Group, we invest our members into the movement. Your investiture is a special ceremony where you will be presented with your badges and scarf and are formally welcomed into the Group. You will also make the Scout Promise at this time. The law and promise is what all Scouts live by and it is what defines us. We feel that it is a big part of the reason you want to become a Scout. You may not know it, but you will have learnt a lot about your Law and Promise during your initial weeks with us.
