Fees

Fees are from March until the next March. If you join later in the year, you pay up until the next March.
The following are fees for new members, for existing members fees are $160 per year.
Remember for new members, the first six weeks are free.

Full year          01/04/2010 - 30/03/2011        $230
3/4 year           01/07/2010 - 30/03/2011         $200
1/2 year           01/10/2010 - 30/03/2011          $170
1/4 year           01/01/2011 - 30/03/2011          $130

A discount of the  fee is available per family if a parent is a scout leader. So volunteer now!

Note: each section (Joeys, Cubs, Scouts) also charges a term fee (subs) to cover incidentals for meeting nights. Currently $20 per term.

There are also many fundraising opportunities  where funds raised can be used for major outings eg camps, Jamboree, flying days etc. In 2009 there were barbeques at Curl Curl netball courts and Bunnings Narrabeen, raffle tickets, chocolate sales and handing out drinks at the Pub to Pub fun run. It is expected that every family raise $300 per year by fundraising. This is easily achieved  over the year by families participating in just a few fundraising opportunities and many families exceed this amount and their kids go to camps for free.

How much fundraising money does my family already have?

Term 4 Program 2009

Please find the new program attached below.

What we have been up to: Jungle Book movie nights

Picture
We set up a surround sound movie house at the Hall, ate popcorn and watched the Jungle Book, and found out who the characters are, that Cub Scouts are based on.

Campfire Night

Picture
We made damper and wrapped it in foil. Then we placed them in the hot coals of our campfire! While we waitied for them to cook we toasted marshmallows, mm yum! Thanks to the parents and leaders who organised our fire for us, we can't wait for the next one. At the end of the night we added honey or syrup and ate them up!

  Medieval Night

We saw lots  of weapons and learnt how to use them , found out about being a knight and how heavy chain mail is!
